Jason Oliveri, children's media producer and creative executive

Ever since I learned that making movies, TV, and cartoons could be a real job, it's all I've wanted to do. Whether I was getting in trouble for doodling in the margins or begging my parents for the camcorder, I just wanted to tell stories. That's never stopped.

A Pratt education gave me the fundamentals in film and animation, and I soon gravitated toward production. That's where I could affect the entire picture. Rising through the ranks across animation, interactive, advertising, and live action gave me a range of experience that most people in this industry only get a small piece of. It all culminated at Nickelodeon, a network I grew up watching, where web content I developed and produced made the leap to television. And I made the leap with it, from producer to Network Executive. Spending a decade with nearly as much development work as production has given me a depth of perspective on storytelling that I now put to work in all my collaborations.

If you're here, you probably have something worth making. Could be a pitch that needs a stronger spine, a production that needs someone to see around corners, or an idea that hasn't yet found its shape. My job is to help you make it the way it deserves to be made. I have an eye for finding the potential and the pitfalls in anything. I focus on the creator's intentions: how best to shape your ideas into what works. Leave the egos at the door and let's collaborate. I've worked with creators, studios, licensors, agencies, networks, and startups. No matter how the dynamic changes, the approach doesn't.

Lifelong New Yorker. Raised on cartoons, comics, games and anything with a good story. The kid in the toy aisle who never quite grew up and figured out how to make it work for him. Bringing out the full potential in stories that matter to people is what drives me. My wife Elisabeth and our minuscule Yorkie keep me honest.

Experience like this?
Hard to find.
But I'm not.
Let's talk.
